WHO IS DILEMMA?
Piper Hewitt-Dudding, aka Dilemma, is a drum and bass artist, producer and DJ making waves in the scene right now. She has established herself as an artist with a unique sound - her productions have a rare and infectious musicality to them, seizing inspiration from a diverse pool of genres into a new, drum and bass context. Her productions have caught the attention of several labels, including the prestigious Soulvent Records, and have been supported by artists such as LTJ Bukem, S.P.Y and Calibre, to name but a few.
Dilemma has performed at some of the most sought-after events in the drum and bass scene, such as Hospitality on the Beach, Let It Roll and Worried About Henry. Her energetic and musically diverse performances have won the hearts of many dnb fans, most notably in the melodic liquid subgenre. In addition to her past successes, Dilemma has several upcoming bookings, including a return to Liquicity Festival and Hospitality Weekend in the Woods.
With features on BBC Radio 1, UKF and DrumAndBassArena already under her belt, there is no doubt that her future in the industry is bright, with many respected artists watching her closely as she continues to make waves in the drum and bass scene.
As well as being an accomplished artist, producer and DJ, Dilemma has a background in teaching, having taught GCSE Music Production at south east provider college Dv8 Sussex, and has worked alongside organisations such as AudioActive and Leeds City Council to deliver free production sessions for young people.
